Unique opportunity for IBT students: Business Travel Masterclass with NATM
Hoofddorp, 25 August 2025 – This semester, students of the International Business Travel (IBT) minor at Inholland University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam are offered a unique opportunity: the full Business Travel program is developed and delivered in collaboration with the Netherlands Association for Travel Management (NATM).
Throughout the first semester 2025–2026, students will work on current challenges from the business travel field. Topics such as sustainability, duty of care, and innovation will be addressed. The program is enriched with inspiring lectures, interactive sessions, and practice-oriented assignments, guided by professionals from the industry.
“With this masterclass we connect education and practice in a sector that is rapidly evolving,” says Odete Pimenta da Silva, Managing Director of NATM. “Students experience how key themes shape their future profession and have the opportunity to test their knowledge against real-world dynamics.”
This collaboration not only enriches the curriculum but also strengthens the position of the IBT minor within the business domain. Several Inholland alumni are already active in the business travel industry, demonstrating the strong career opportunities this sector has to offer.
During the NATM members’ meeting on 3 July, assignments were co-created with corporate travel managers and industry members, making this program a unique example of cooperation between education and business.
